Last weekend I ended up purchasing some land in Alaska. 4.5acres on a hill-top 1/4miles from Deadman Lake. It looks to be pretty good land. Will be nice not having to worry about flooding (because its the highest point in the area) and also nice that it will have more sunlight.

The shortest distance across the lake is 1mile. So it is pretty good and is stocked with Pike and other fish. I've been in Contact with a guy named Tim who knows the area well and has mentioned that there are wolf and grizzly sightings in the area on ocassion. That is pretty exciting. The land is 45miles or so from Fairbanks and the only way to get there is to have a float plane land on the lake. Round trip from Fairbanks costs around $300, so that's not bad for a weekend camping trip etc. (theres rumors of a trail along the river that reaches to the town of Manly Hot Springs around 26miles away, but am not sure of the condition of it.)
I also converted an old 10galon aquarium into a bank, for me to put my change etc into it as my 'Alaska Fund'. Right now I think I have a lil over $100 in it. Its getting a little exciting watching it grow. Ill post pics of it in a few days or so.
Ive been busy at work and sweating my ass off. I've gotten to the point where it really hurts when I get home. Last Tuesday I was shaking and even felt chilly, so the heat is pretty hot when its got a temperature of 101degrees. So I havent really been working out at the gym. But Im sure work is making up for that. Also, my diet has been going great. Haven't really been hungry. Portion control and scheduled meals is working great for me sofar.
Anyways, that's all for now. Ill post again soon.
